Mixing up the Meals
Posted: Feb 29, 2012 • By: Dr Aaron Tressler •
Question: Can I spread my meals out throughout the day, instead of just eating lunch and dinner?
Answer: Yes. Stick to the meal plan, but it is fine to have your protein portion for breakfast and finish the meal at lunch, for example. As long as the content and quantity stay the same, No Problem.

A New You

Weight loss is all about sticking to the plan. Don't deviate, 1/2 pound to 2 pounds per day is attainable. Remember, you are losing body fat.
You are resetting your hypothalamus and hormone levels. You are regaining a new set point {lower body weight}. You are learning how to eat a healthy, low cal meal. Your food, not boxed up expensive food.
If you are exercising and it is working, don't start exercising now. If you are not, and your progress is slow, begin to do our power exercise plan. Remember to read the manual and re-read. Write all your food down daily. Weigh yourself as often as you can. Get excited and tell yourself "I can do this!"
20-30-40 days from now, you will be a new person.
You will feel better, look better, clothes will begin to loosen up, and your energy and health will be MUCH better. You can do this! Dr. T
Break that Plateau

A plateau after 10 - 14 days is typical because your body may need a "Rest Period" from detoxing so rapidly.
If the Plateau persists do one of the following:
OPTION #1: Apple Day
The only thing you eat is apples. Eat no more than 6 per day. Drink plenty of Water, and you may even drink coffee or tea.
In effect, this is a mini liver cleanse, and should break your plateau.
OPTION #2: Mini-Steak Day
Similar to the steak day during the Retrain Phase - except this very lean steak is only 3 ounces, and may not be cooked in fats or oils. Drink Water, coffee or tea all day until dinner.
Choose either an apple or tomato to eat with your steak.
Good luck.
2 meals per day?

Question: Do I have to eat the 2 meals per day for lunch and dinner? Or can the fruit or vegetable be used as a snack in between meals and not eaten with the meal?
Answer: You can break it up. The fruit can be eaten for a snack, if so, do not eat it with your next meal. You may want to eat the protein, eggs for breakfast, and skip it with your lunch.
The key is to eat the exact way it is written out. This ensures for the best success. I found it easy to skip breakfast. Drink 32 ounces of Alkaline/Oxygenated water, then take my Skinny Up around 9 a.m. I then ate lunch, took Skinny Up around 3 p.m. Ate Dinner around 7 p.m. and Skinny Up around 8 or 9 p.m. Lots of Water throughout day is KEY!
If you get thirsty, you will begin to crave food....CARBS!
Read the Manual and Re-Read. Don't miss out on you highest amount of weight loss in the shortest amount of time.

I've hit a plateau

"Doc, I've hit a plateau, what do I do?"
When you lose weight, you may hit a plateau. When this happens, do several things:
-
Stay on track
-
Drink extra Alkaline/Oxygenated water -- bring your jug in for more if you run out
-
Read your manual -- you may be adding something or mixing up a procedure
-
Try exercising if you are not doing so. Simply add in a 15 - 20 minute power walk
-
Don't get discouraged. Your body is adjusting.
-
Some lose weight faster than others -- it works, just buckle down and don't give in.
-
Try a different protein or change the fruit or vegetable you are eating.
I stuck to the same few meals each day. Boring yes...But Simple. I told my family (kids to), what I was doing. They would ask, "Daddy, can you eat this?", and help me succeed. They were an encouragement to me and they see that I want to be Extra Healthy. They started eating some of my foods to. Your kids watch everything you do. This is a good lesson for them to see your courage and determination.
You can do this and it is worth it!
Rock on! Dr. T

Tips for success
Posted: Feb 9, 2012 • By: Dr Aaron Tressler •
Several Tips while on the Weight Loss Program:
-
Don't leave junk food or other food not on list out to SEE and get TEMPTED.
-
If having cravings, take an additional .25 of Skinny up once or twice a day.
-
Drink LOTS of water. This is a Critical step.
-
Start the day with extra water. I would drink 32 oz. before 9 am.
-
Remember No Fat. Watch those little things like, cream in your coffee, No Butter on vegetables, No Olive oil, No Fish Oil, No lotions or creams on your body, and even No coconut oil.
-
If hungry at Night (always seems to be at night?) -- try munching on some celery with Real Salt, half a cucumber, or my favorite was a bowl of frozen spinach cooked with tons of Hot Sauce.
Think One day at a time. Each day when you lose a pound -- be encouraged to get one more day in. Don't think long term. 20-30-40 days will pass by quick. Don't give in. This will change your life.
30 days from now is March 8th!
